Beer lovers will fall head over heels for the Cape Fear Beer Festival in historic downtown Wilmington, NC. The 6th annual edition of the event will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Wilmington Convention Center, which is located along the Cape Fear River (hence the name of the festival). Singularly creative brew masters will be offering up their one-of-a-kind craft beers for you to taste. And there will be plenty of choice. You'll be looking at a total of over 100 American beers and you can try as many as you like. In addition, there will be ciders and wines available for sampling along with plenty of fine food options that you can purchase.
General admission tickets for the Cape Fear Beer Fest are $40 when you buy them in advance and $50 at the door. VIP tickets are $50 and they will entitle you to enter the festival at noon, which is one hour ahead of general admission ticket holders. You must be 21 years of age or older to attend so make sure to bring along a valid photo ID-it will be checked. What you can't bring along are infants, toddlers or children.
